About This Course

Pathology is a common word used in medical laboratories but how many laboratory professionals can define the word and explain it to a non-medical person? Richard Kish is an ASCP certified Pathologists’ Assistant and experienced anatomic pathology specialist. His work experience pertains to undergraduate and graduate degrees in Biology and Pathology with university derived certificates in Laboratory Management and Marketing.
This presentation contains illustrations of tissue and organ samples received from biopsies, and or surgeries. All HIPAA rules will be observed.

Marion is a medical laboratory scientist certified by the American Society for Clinical Pathology.  She also has a Masters degree in Clinical Laboratory Management and completed a specialist in blood banking certificate program. She has many years experience in the blood transfusion service in the U.S and in Trinidad and Tobago. In addition to the work done at Trinity she is an adjunct immunohaematology lecturer and provides non technical and technical advice to persons in need of blood, medical laboratory technologists respectively.
