About This Course
This presentation is intended for individuals who are currently working in a medical laboratory as a medical laboratory assistant or as a phlebotomist and want to advance in the medical field.
This course will be presented by Marion Carrillo MS., MLS(ASCP)cm.
Marion has more than 20 years experience in medical laboratory science. Her work spans the clinical and academic areas, in the United States and Trinidad and Tobago. She is the founder and owner of Trinity Blood Solutions. Through Trinity she helps medical laboratory scientists advance regionally and internationally. In December 2024, Marion was awarded 2024 ASCP BOC Lab Superstar for her outstanding work in the field of medical laboratory science.

Marion Carrillo
MS, MLS (ASCP)cm
Marion is a medical laboratory scientist certified by the American Society for Clinical Pathology. She also has a Masters degree in Clinical Laboratory Management and completed a specialist in blood banking certificate program. She has many years experience in the blood transfusion service in the U.S and in Trinidad and Tobago. In addition to the work done at Trinity she is an adjunct immunohaematology lecturer and provides non technical and technical advice to persons in need of blood, medical laboratory technologists respectively.
