This 6-month course prepares eligible candidates to take the ASCPi certification exam for MLS(ASCPi)cm. The course covers the 7 subject areas covered in the ASCPi exam. Live lectures are provided virtually to review the 7 subject areas. Study material, assistance with exam application and other support to help to candidate focus on exam preparation will be provided.
The following modules will be 2 weeks each and will cover 5-10% of the exam questions.:

The following modules will be 4 weeks each and will cover 17-22% of the exam questions.

Requirements
- A digital device for virtual streaming of classes
- Live virtual classes will be held 3 days per week.
- Each session will be 2-3 hours.
- Weekday classes will be after 5 p.m.
- A specific schedule will be sent before each module begins.

Your Instructors
Marion Carrillo
MS, MLS (ASCP)cm
Marion is a medical laboratory scientist certified by the American Society for Clinical Pathology. She also has a Masters degree in Clinical Laboratory Management and completed a specialist in blood banking certificate program. She has many years experience in the blood transfusion service in the U.S and in Trinidad and Tobago. In addition to the work done at Trinity she is an adjunct immunohaematology lecturer and provides non technical and technical advice to persons in need of blood, medical laboratory technologists respectively.
